Mike and Ella's Last Night (2)
7th January 2007
Unfortunately all good things come to an end. Having Mike and Ella to stay for 3 weeks was a very, very good thing. The end wasn't. It was upsetting for us all. Mike has captured the moment rather nicely over here, but I thought I'd post some of my own pictures (which are the same, same, but different) here. The Australian sky is often stunning and it put on a spectacular show for us as we made our way to the Corso for our last meal together.
As you would have all seen by now, the time that we all spent together (including those times with Mike, Kim, the Winchesters and all of our Sydney friends), was very special. It was arguably the best holiday I have ever had, and I didn’t even go anywhere. But being in Sydney made it feel like we were on holiday, as it does every morning, evening and weekend (in fact every minute I am not in the office).
But, the goodbyes weren't nice. As I said in the Winchester blog, the worst thing is that we don't know when we will next see each other again. I guess the fact that Mike and Ella are only 8 hours away in Singapore is a little consolation! But I'd like to think we will all celebrate H's 30th together, as well as NYE again. Watch this space!
2007 is a going to be a big year. Mike has got a promotion. I am about to change my job. Mike and Ella may get married. H and I both have our parents coming out to stay and Sam and Moe will be making the move down under to join us.

Great photo's, but why did you have to go and ruin it with that last one?

I think it compliments the natural beauty captured in the other pictures. Well I do anyway, not so sure about Mike.....
