Christmas Day
Here's a selection of photo's taken from Christmas Day (and a couple from Christmas Eve, when the snapper was bought from from the Fish Market. H and Ella stuffed it - as you can see, it was bigger than my head).
We all headed to Martin's house in the evening for a BBQ and kareoke (and to continue the Bristol tradition of going to a house party on Christmas Day evening). Considering I can't sing, I did remarkably well progressing through a couple of rounds (a Bonnie Tyler power ballad and a Run DMC rap-attack being my own personal highlights). Mike said my falsetto was what got me through whilst singing Girls Aloud's "Biology".
I went for a surf before we cracked open with the presents.
Christmas lunch, which involved traditional pommy and Australian food (Turkey, pigs in blankets, stuffed Snapper, prawns and scallops) was enjoyed on the balcony.
A few mates came over to Manly in the afternoon and we headed to the beach for some boogie-boarding and beach cricket.

Mike, it seems that you must have the voice of an angel...your singing appears to have sent the chap on the sofa into heaven!

He does look rather impressed, Rich, doesn't he? Still not quite sure how I won, particularly considering the final song was Ice, Ice, Baby. I bought the cap in Sydney, Mike's Ma. Nice, eh?
