I got up to watch the second half. It wasn't very exciting but I'm glad the Portuguese are out. Terry Henry likes a dive though doesn't he.

Terry Henry, and half the Portugal team like a dive, it seems. The BBC showed about 7 or 8 blatent Portugal dives at the end (not that they're bitter). A couple of them by Ronaldo himself, who was being booed for each touch by the English contingent of the crowd (and the French were joining in too, apparently). It was quite nice to see him crying his eyes out at the end, I have to say.
Portugal were completely rubbish, I'm sure we'd have given France a much better game than that.

Yeah I definitely agree which makes our loss all the harder to bear (although I am over it now). It is nice to see him crying though. He is clearly the new England hate-figure, just like Maradona was once, and Beckham.
Rich - good skills. I'm very impressed. I wonder which one you have gone for.
