Boxing Day

Boxing Day in Sydney signals the start of the annual Sydney-Hobart Yacht Race. I don't really get the whole boating thing but I knew it would be a spectacle worth seeing. So, with turkey sandwiches at the ready, we all made the mission onto the North Head National Park for the start of the race. Apart from the ignorant French tourists pushing their way to the front, it was well worth the effort.
